Project Background

Shanghai Electric Research Concrete, working with China First Heavy Industries, completed the first lift of this hybrid wind tower project. The total installed capacity reached 100 MW, including 20 wind turbines rated at 4.8 MW and 2 turbines rated at 2.0 MW.

The hub height reached 140 meters, while the lower concrete section of the tower measured 89 meters. Shanghai Electric Research Concrete was responsible for supplying the ring components for the hybrid tower section and providing technical support during production and project delivery.

For this large-scale wind tower application, Yunzhu supplied concrete release agent solutions to support smoother demolding, cleaner release, and more stable finished concrete surfaces during segment manufacturing. The project reflects how Yunzhu products can support demanding precast production scenarios in renewable energy infrastructure.
